Apple says it’s replacing its Apple Watch with an Android Wear smartwatch

article Ars Technicallan Apple is rolling out Android Wear 2.0, and while the new Wear smartwatches won’t be launching anytime soon, the company’s not giving up on the Android ecosystem anytime soon.

In a blog post, Apple explained that it’s rolling out the Android Wear platform on all of its devices in a similar fashion to what it did with its iPhone, iPad, and Mac OS X platforms.

The new Android Wear device will be available at some point in 2020, but Apple doesn’t have a timeline on when that will be.
